Amateur Radio License Exams
Our next ARRL VEC test session will be on Saturday,
at 10:30 AM at the following location:

Here are some things to remember when taking an Amateur Radio test:

• Bring the original and 1 copy of your existing license.
• Bring the original and 1 copy of any current CSCE(s).
• The ARRL test fee for 2007 is $14.00. Please bring a check payable to the ARRL VEC.
• You will need to present two forms of ID, one of which must be a photo ID, when you register for your tests.

Field Day
We operate from Illiniwek Park in Hampton, IL every year. More information will be available here as we get closer to the event. There are some pictures of our past efforts in the Picture Gallery.

Illinois QSO Party
We have been fortunate enough to hold the Illinois club competition title since 2003. Our club members have turned out a great effort operating everything from their home stations to county line portables to QRP mobile. We hope we'll hear your call in the Illinois QSO Party on the third full weekend of October.

Special Events
W9RI and K9WM sponsored a special event to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the First Railroad Bridge Across the Mississippi River in April 2006.
