Hi Joann: The William Forret in your inquiry as I am told, was my great grandfather William Norman Forret a journeyman stone mason. His father was Andrew born 1817. William had a family in Scotland before he emigrated to Canada. There were two boys and three girls. My grandfather was Andrew born 1877 in Scotland. He emigrated to Toronto Canada circa 1900-1906. When searching our family tree, my relatives in Toronto discovered a marriage of William Forret, stone mason, in Toronto to Emma Burch circa 1891. They had a family of 1 boy and 4 girls. I have only recently got into tracing the family tree and this is all I have to pass along. Hope it is of some help.
